Janie Summers is your typical 16 year old high school student living in a small farming town in Michigan. She has a twin brother, parents that love her, two best friends (Drew and Samantha), a dog, and her home is surrounded by a white picket fence. Her life was as normal, safe and boring as any other teenager in the world...until she met Kerian; a tall dark haired boy who was out of this world beautiful. But where is he from? She can't find any information on him prior to his arriving at West End High. It's like he appeared out of the ether just for her.
Little does Janie realize he is here...just for her...to take her away from her perfectly normal world. For Janie doesn't belong here on Earth...she's just been kept here for safe keeping. But is Kerian here to save Janie, or deliver her into the hands of those she's been hidden from for so long?
What would you do if one day you found out you weren't from here? That you were switched at birth...left on Earth for protection...what would you decide to do?
