My name is Atlanta Hart and I am a witch.
I've always had abilities I've hidden from my friends and family...that is, until now. It was a typical Thursday night at The Barn (the local Goth/Industrial club in town) and Jensine, Grayson and I were just out for a night of dancing. Little did I know that this one night would make all the difference. Without knowing it, we met a real Vampire...and he pulled us into his world...a world I quickly realized I may belong to. A world of magick and magickal creatures. Things you only thought were in stories.
What you need to know: A war is brewing between the two factions of the Clandestine World...a war that could change life as you know it. My friends, new and old, set out on a journey to keep you safe. For in the dark there are things your parents told you didn't or couldn't exist...but they do...probably closer than you would care to know.
I share this journey with you...for it can't teach you anything or open your mind if it isn't read. So if you aren't interested in knowing the truth and prefer to stay in the dark please, by all means...put the book down and go read those magazines full of what you know is fiction that you can laugh off.
