The Betrayal: Character Info
This is a page to list all of the characters you'll meet in the first book of the Living Dead Girl series.
Every character has been classified as to where they fall in the supernatural world (witch/vampire/werewolf/shape shifter) as well as if they are part of the Great Order or the Amoral Order, in book one.
Clarification of the two Orders
Great Order. Vampires, Witches, Werewolves and Shape Shifters who live to serve the human race. They keep the peace as best they can, solving large problems the humans cannot, fighting in wars where they feel a victory is needed, etc. Though their laws are old they feel they apply to today as well as a hundred years ago. The leaders who come from England, have organized the higerarchy as England has, with a monarch (King) and Princes/Princesses who answer to the King who answers to his Royal Council.
Superior Order. Vampires, Witches, Werevolves, Shape Shifters and hybrids of them who once lived to serve the human race but feel that the humans are too destructive for their own good and need to be controlled and made to serve their protectors/leaders; The Clandestine People. The leader is a dictator with a modern military set up. She has the last say on everything and answers to no one.

Valencia (witch/vampire) - Leader of the Superior Order. Petite woman with long, curly red hair. She is convinced without pause her way is the best way. Power hungry/obsessed. Master manipulator. Loves Jonathan...as best as she can love anyone or anything. Age: No idea.
Jonathan (vampire) - Superior Order. Right hand to Valencia and her lover. A tall, thin man from England with long blonde hair.
General McMasters (human familiar) - Superior Order. In charge of the military movements of the Superior Order. Pretty much a tool Valencia uses as she pleases. He's of medium height and sort of heavy with glasses and a handlebar mustache.
Sean Cameron (vampire) - 5' 8'' with slightly curly dark hair that isn't short but isn't long. His eyes are a honey golden hazel. Very lean but cut. When human, he was one of the U.S.' top gymnasts, until his family was killed by vampires. Then he became the worlds most feared vampire hunter. After many years he was finally captured by Valencia and as his punishment for the crimes he committed against the Superior Order, Valencia turned him into a vampire and imprisoned him in the dungeons of the Superior Order stronghold, Asmarahald (in Canada). He is in love with Atlanta. Part of the Great Order.
Atlanta Hart (witch) - 5'9" tall, curvy but slim, her black hair falls to between her shoulder blades and her green eyes are the color of man made emeralds. She's is both skilled in Ju-jitsu but specifically with a Bo Staff. Orphaned at an early age and sent to live with her father's brother, she is unaware of her mother's background; she was a witch. Atlanta knows she has abilities that are not normal but has never confided in anyone, until 1997 when she meets Roman and Stephan, who are able to show her who she really is. She is in love with Roman and Sean. Part of the Great Order.
Jensine Blackensdale (human) - 5' 5" tall with curly blond hair to her chin and green/hazel eyes. Atlanta's best friend since they were children. They studied Ju-jitsu together. She has a Masters in Journalism and has just returned to the states from London to work at the Salem Newspaper. She has a bad habbit of choosing "the wrong" man and is the reason Atlanta finds the Clandestine World...because she picks up another "wrong" man...Devon...a vampire. As our story begins she is neither part of the Great Order or the Amoral Order.
Grayson Alex Stoltz (human) - 5'11.5" (but tells all he's six foot) and slender with golden brown wavy hair (with highlights) and sea green eyes. He's a skilled Ju-jitsu fighter and hair stylist to boot. Atlanta's other best friend and roommate. They've known each other since high school. Alex is gay and quite "out" about it. He loves Atlanta and Jensine like sisters. He met them as they all studied Ju-jitsu. Once rivals in Ju-jitsu competition, but now family. Alex is a bit of a man-whore...until he meets Stephan... who he falls for instantly. Joins the Great Order.
Roman Pierce (vampire) - 6' 3" slender man with crazy light brown hair (gelled to have that "freshly fucked" look) that's short in the back but long and crazy on top. Very British in manner and speach. Has dark blue eyes. Head of the vampires for the Great Order. His sister died a year ago and he's still not adapting. Her death has not only shook his world (and ruined his relationship to Kat) but the entire Great Order. He immediately falls for Atlanta but is rivaled by Sean for her affection when Great Order rules are put before her and her needs.
Stephan Throneburg (vampire) - 5' 9" golden blond vampire with long hair he likes to wear in a ponytail most of the time and beautiful brown eyes. He is a stocky, muscular build but not heavy. Roman's right hand in the Great Order. British. Gay. Beautiful. Has a mental power others do not. Loves Alex the minute he sees him.
Elizabeth Pierce Keziah (vampire) - 5'11" woman with blue eyes just like Roman's but long blonde hair, which makes sense since she's his biological half-sister. She also was Harmon's wife but died September of 1996. Though her physical body is no longer on this earth, her spirit roams free and acts as council to Alastair from the gods who speak to her. Before she died she held the same seat Alastair does now for the Great Order on the Council but was suspended for being a rouge hunter of the Superior Order with the partner no one ever knew about; Sean Cameron.
Devon N. Worthy (vampire) - 5' 10" man with a slender yet sturdy build. He has shoulder length auburn hair and light blue eyes. A wealthy British vampire with the Great Order/Superior Order...whoever has the best deal at the time to save his own ass. It is assumed that his selfishness is part of the reason Elizabeth died. Jensine falls for him and possibly vice versa.
Phoenix Keziah (vampire) - About 5' 9" with grey eyes and short dark hair he wears slicked back a lot of the time. Prince of the Great Order of the NE States. Originally from England. Has one living relative left; Harmon, his younger brother. Other than the King of the G.O. Phoenix is the first and last say on how everything works in the Clandestine World. Previously run by his father. The Keziah family have been running the G.O. since it's conception.
Harmon Keziah (vampire) - 5' 11" man with very light blonde hair and grey eyes. He is heir to the Prince throne for the Great Order. Also from England. As our story begins he is off in Europe trying to get over the death of his wife, Elizabeth. He returns but something is "off" about him...or so it seems. Only Sean can shed light on the reason.
Katrina (Kat) Wellington (shape shifter) - About 5' 6" gal with dyed dark hair tipped pink. She is very goth looking with very pale skin and large pretty light brown eyes. She is with the Great Order. Stephan's best friend and appointed protector of Roman and Stephan. Roman's ex-girlfriend. She is of the mammal house of shape shifters; a lioness is her shift.
Celeste Rowan(witch) - Tall girl about 5'9'' with blond hair to her shoulders, glasses and blue eyes. Curvy. Looks a lot like Marilyn Monroe. One of the Great Order's Earth Witches. A very sweet girl who's only fault is she loves the wrong man. Though she and Bianca and Desirae are not biological sisters they are best friends and inseperable. She is the undesignated leader of the three, the one they look up to.
Bianca "Blaze" Robinson(witch) - One of the Great Order's Fire Witches. A tall, thin, African-American girl with short hair she's dyed fire engine red. Easily built to do runway modeling (standing over 5'10'' and less curvy & more muscular) but would rather work with The Great Order. She holdes a quick temper/wit and loves experiementing with her powers; even if it means a massive clean up and a month long of apologies for the damage. She thrives on the idea of using her talents in battle.
Desirae Ma (witch) - One of the Great Order's Water Witches. A short (just under 5' tall), cute little Asian girl with long black hair and dark eyes. She is the shy one of the group, yet the most compassionate. As the body is mostly made of water she aims to be a healer, not a destroyer. She rarely uses her power in a fighting way.
Mercury (shape shifter) - Superior Order. Valencia's top shape shifting assassin. She is of the mammal house of shape shifters; cougar is her shift. She is about 5'7" with short spikey white hair and golden eyes.
Pepper Cotswald(vampire) - A new part of the Great Order team...maybe. She shows up on the scene and is interested in Roman...or that could just be a cover. She is a woman of much backstory...to be learned in book two. She's from Canada and is about 5' 5'' tall with short bobbed hair she'd dyed a dark purple. Her eyes are large and olive green. She has many tatooes and piercings.
Hunter (Greyhound) Thore (werewolf) - This NC actor/rap artist has ditched his family's demanding order to attend business college to go galavanting with his best friend, and rap partner, Josh "Kammitted" Pryce, who just happens to be working as lead computer tech at Asmarahald with the Superior Order. Hunter's thought, "It's a job, it's adventure...who cares what side is what...it's not college!" A bit of a player and all around "fun" guy...he befriends Pip and that makes all the difference. He is about 5' 7'' tall with short grey hair (even though he's young) and slightly slanted cat blue eyes.
Josh Pryce (shape shifter) - This NC actor/rap artist has taken to working for the Superior Order as one of their lead computer tech's. Much like Hunter he has no allegence to their "cause". It's a job. It's not at home. It's a chance to do something different and use his natural computer ability to make some money to pay for other dreams he has. He is a rare shape shifter; of the house of flying creatures. His shift is a Red Shouldered Hawk. He too befriends Pip and is pulled into her story. He stands at about 5' 7'' and has straight brown hair and light blue eyes, like the sky, and a square jaw. He is the romantic one of hte two and is dating a vampire.
Pip (shape shifter) - New recruit for the Superior Order with an agenda. She befriends the other new recruit that came in with her; Greyhound. When she finds herself in a serious bind she turns to him for help. She is of the mammal house of shape shifters; a black panther is her shift.
Amanda Cane (vampire) - A nice girl the 1990's would call a "tree hugger". She lives in NYC and is known for being arrested in a animal rights event that got out of hand. Great Order bound. Her identical twin sister is Alicia.
Alicia Cane (vampire) - A not so nice girl the 1990's (or any other time) would call a psychotic bitch. Head of the vampires for the Superior Order but currently in prison on trumped up charges. Has a cell next to one of Valencia's prime catches.
